Solar PV

In the simplest terms, Solar Panels work by absorbing the sun’s light using photovoltaic cells and converting it to DC energy. Substantial amounts of solar electricity can still be generated on cloudy days as the panels only require ambient daylight to produce electricity. Then the solar system converts the DC energy from the solar modules to AC electricity. Electricity that has been produced can then power electronic appliances in the home. Any energy that hasn’t been used can be sold back to the grid or stored in the battery storage system for free energy use in the evenings.

Battery Storage

Solar batteries work by storing the excess electricity that has been generated by the solar panels and storing it in the battery for later use. This is becoming very popular in the solar industry as people are selling their electricity to their energy provider for a much smaller price than they would pay to buy it back on the evening. It ensures that energy generated by the homeowners would be used in the most efficient way. It allows people to save larger quantities of money.

Lux Power Hybrid Inverter

This is one of many inverters that we stock however at present it is most popular. Single Phase Hybrid Inverters with Pylon Tech US2000 Plus batteries are intelligent Hybrid Battery Inverters and energy monitoring systems, that store energy from excess solar energy whenever the property demand is higher than electric power generation from the solar panels. This system works by directing unused electric power from the solar panels to the Pylon Tech US2000 Plus solar battery system for later use. It converts and directs solar power to where it is needed, when it is needed.

Infrared Heating Panels

ThermIQ heating panels are a much better alternative to conventional heating systems by generating infrared heating which is Eco-friendly, efficient, good for human health and many more. These ThermIQ heating panels come in a variety of sizes and textures and can be installed within every room of the building or as an addition to your heating system. They offer savings on energy costs (up to 70%) as well as consistent heat all year round. Other benefits of this product include: easy installation (panels only require a connection to the electricity), releasing no carbon emissions, improving skin, reducing damp and mould, and they provide a healthy and pleasant indoor climate.

I-Boost

The solar I-boost works by maximising the free energy that has been produced by the solar system. This is done by redirecting the energy to your hot water tank, powering the heater which will then result in heating water for free. This has been proven to be much more beneficial than selling excess energy produced from the solar system back to the grid. The solar I-Boost allows homeowners to reduce their energy bills even further.

The Solar iBoost+ has 2 main parts to the system, the first being the Solar iBoost Controller which is usually installed in an airing cupboard and a Sender which is attached to your electricity meter.

Bunsen Air

The Bunsen Air Unit is a small system that uses 2 solar collector panels to transfer free energy that has been collected from the UK weather to heat your hot water cylinder. The Bunsen unit is fitted as close to your existing or new hot water cylinder as possible. It doesn’t matter whatever your heating system is it can be left in place but switched off the Bunsen Air will take over generating 100% of your hot water. Some of the benefits of the Bunsen Air system include: reducing your carbon footprint, lowering your heating costs by moving away from costly energy sources, adding value to your property, protection against ascending energy bills, and easy installation (simple plumbing required).

Thermodynamic Systems

Simply, Thermodynamic panels work like refrigerators in reverse, by absorbing heat from the atmosphere and converting it into gas. They are able to provide hot water and heat for your home and business. The thermodynamic panels can be fitted to any roof area or vertical wall within 15m of the hot water tank. Some of the benefits of these particular panels include: working in any weather condition during both the day and the night, solar collectors absorb heat from both sides of the panel making them extremely efficient which will lower your heating and water bills, and significantly reduce CO2 emissions, making your home greener.

SolarEdge

SolarEdge invented an intelligent inverter solution that revolutionised the way power is managed in solar PV systems. Optimisers are attached to each solar panel and connected by the DC cable to the SolarEdge Inverter. Installing the SolarEdge optimised solution allows each panel to produce its maximum amount of energy eliminating power losses from a selection of factors such as: shading, snow, leaves etc. Other benefits of the SolarEdge system include panel-level monitoring and Improved safety.

Electric Car Port Charges

These are very simple, you plug your car into the charger that is connected to the electric grid. There is three types of electric charging stations available:

Level 1 chargers can be plugged into a standard outlet and use a 120 V Ac plug. These are the least expensive and typically deliver two to five miles of range per hour of charging and are usually used at home.
Level 2 chargers can’t be plugged into a standard wall outlet, instead they are installed by a professional electrician and can be installed as part of a solar panel system. They use a 240V (for residential) or 208V (for commercial) plug and can deliver 10 to 60 miles of range per hour of charging. A full charge can take place in as little as 2 hours.

Some of the benefits of having an electric car and car port charger includes: fast, easy home charging, better for the environment, the future of driving is electric, and it is cheaper to maintain.
